Yo people – quite a heavily requested one this so thought I would smash it out. Let me know if you guys have suggestions too 👇🏻. As ever, subscribe if ya new here 🤙🏻
You are super relatable – I feel like I'm sitting having a chat with a friend. I've just finished 'Homeless to Billionaire', apart from the woo-woo bits in it I think you might enjoy it 🙂
I found think and grow rich tiring boring and confusing aswell. Rich dad poor dad very basic all the others are good 👍
I often find business books could have been summed up in a few sentences.
Deep work = don’t get distracted.
Richest man in babylon = pay off your debts and save a bit.
Miracle morning = get up a bit earlier.
The one thing = do one thing at a time.
Oversubscribed = limit the number of clients that you take on and people will want to buy from you because you tell them that you are fully booked.
Rich dad poor dad = spend your money on appreciating assets rather than depreciating assets.
Your videos are exactly what I’ve been looking for. Precise and to the point. Keep up the good work!
THANKYOU !
Quality content here mate, keep them coming.
The Simple Path to Wealth is very good but is written predominantly for the US market – although the basic principles will apply to UK savings and investments too. But in a nutshell – invest in index funds (the author only talks about Vanguard) and don't overcomplicate it!
i recognise that hoodie – its from cos! organic cotton !
Richard Branson Finding My Virginity talks a lot about investing (in business), microfinancing business, spac's. I'd recommend a read, I prefer it to his first book.
The psychology of money by Morgan Housel I'd recommend you read mate. Looks at personal finance through the lens of human behaviour.
Goatness
Joe laa, majorly impressed with the channel bud, showing ur real life shit 'acumen'. Any chance you'd go down the route of saving/investing as a young adult / student. How to grow your balance from little to a lot with a few basic principles. Great content afp m8.
Thank you so much for doing this channel! It’s come at a perfect time for me. Watching with interest.
BTW downloaded Reset via Audible 👍🏻
Fundamental or Kindamental – as you'd need to be.
Fundamental Finance= just a real north-west G
Just a suggestion for your channel/video – Maybe add timestamps for when you talk about each individual book – anyways, nice vid, thanks for the info
Great stuff! I wish you the best with your new channel. Personally, my favourite personal finance book is The Wealthy Barber. Full of practical tips that no one had ever taught me.
I've only ever seen you as a fitness "influencer"/instructor and nearly dismissed your videos before watching… But I'm amazed with your common sense approach to knowledge/investing and clear guidance – thank you!
Howard Marks: The Most Important Thing
It’s so strange watching one of your videos end without ‘joe Delaney is my hero’ 😂
Would recommend the 2020 edition of The FT guide to investing as a thorough base after those first books. It's not as fun but it's still really concise and good to reference from.
Hi to the plant
Great books thanks defo will look into it Joey D twin
